Whether you want more information on Bible versions for yourself, or need answers for the questions your Christian friends are asking, you will find resources listed below which will help. Some are available online, others are books offering excellent explanations.

Let's Weigh the Evidence by Barry Burton. Easy enough to read in a single evening, this little book (96 pages) gives you a good overview of the Bible Versions controversy that is truly easy to understand.

If the Foundations Be Destroyed by Chick Salliby. The NIV is not only the best-selling modern version, but also one of the most corrupt! The author makes it clear in this short book that gives us 155 examples of where the NIV attacks the deity of Christ. Salliby argues that the deity of Christ is the foundation of our faith, and when you start removing that, you've got nothing left worth having!

The Answer Book by Dr. Sam Gipp. It doesn't matter which Bible you read, as long as it is not the King James. People will accept it. But the minute you start using the King James Bible, you'll get hit with questions that are supposed to stump you. Here are the common ones, and common-sense answers, based in fact. This is available for online reading, and also in printed form.

Understandable History of the Bible by Dr. Sam Gipp. A narrative of the history of our Bible, and the struggle by the Catholic Church to replace it with one more acceptable to them. You can read it online, or order a copy in printed form.

Interlinear Greek/English New Testament by George Ricker Berry. Most interlinear New Testaments are based on the Nestle Text, which in turn comes from the corrupt Alexandrian text. Which Bible? by David Otis Fuller. For those wanting to really study more, this book is a collection of articles written by or about the giants in Bible translation. Articles include: (1)"The Learned Men," giving the incredible credentials of the translators of the KJV, (2) "The Magnificent Burgon, Doughty Champion and Defender of the Byzantine Text," (3) "The Codex Vaticanus and its allies," (4) "A Critical Examination of the Westcott-Hort Textual Theory," (5) "The King James Bible Born Amid the Great Struggles over the Jesuit Version" and more.
